I bet that if you were in the neighborhood of 1,000 they might work with you. If you told them that you would buy it for say 800-850, they might bite. 1,000 is a lot of money for a player who has only been in the league for one year. Yes he made the pro bowl, but his value could decrease if he doesn't follow up next season and if we are changing to a 3-4 his numbers have the serious potential of going down along with the value of the jersey.
