Default Why was Suisham's 50 yarder spotted on the left hash mark?

On 3rd and 2 the ball was in the middle of the hash marks and it was a draw play to Cartwright who's forward progress was stopped in the middle of the field? Why then was he kicking from the left hash mark, a much much harder kick especially from 50 yards?

Skins should have won this game and lost on their own merit but I still hate the officiating in this league when it comes to the Skins.

The refs iced Suisham in the first half for 6 minutes.
Andre Carter was dealing with hands to the face all day.
There were some false start no calls on Dallas on the last drive.
On Campbell's Int. there was an apparent off sides defense not called.

in close games officiating matters.

Yeah the Skins blew it but the officiating in the league is sickening every year.

I totally agree. There was at least 2 off sides not called in this game and pass interference calls. Also, as usual Campbell has a heck of a time making good decisions under pressure. I guarantee you he won't be a Redskin next year. Bye Bye Jason.

He missed it right. So you are saying you wanted the ball moved even further right?

Since it was on the left hash mark, he had to kick it to the right, so he just went a little too much. Obviously, he wouldn't have done that had the ball been spotted in the middle. He would have aimed straight...

Vinny Cerrato believes he gave Jim Zorn a roster that can make the playoffs. A playoff kicker doesn't miss that kick. A playoff safety doesn't bite multiple times by a double move in the same game.

Suishy shoulda made the one before half even if it was spotted on the sidline.

He should not have even been on the field...we should have punted the ball, and tried to pin them inside the 20, so we can rely on our defense, who shut the cowboys down all day, to have them go 3 and out so we can just kneel the ball and leave with a win

I've never seen refs ice a kicker before that one...

He was perfect before the icing..

and no matter the 50 yarder should have been in the middle of the hash marks by RULE!

Agreed. The time to go for the kill was before halftime when Zorn has a severe brain fart and basically iced his own kicker.

I agree that we should not of let Suisham out there for 6 minutes while the refs tried to move the Skins back a total of 11 yards but FAILed.

The Skins should have had the offense on the field and then ran a play on 3rd down.with 15 seconds left. Then run the FG unit out after that play. That was stupid. But the refs were bogus also.

And in defense of Zorn Suisham was perfect before that. But I knew he was out there way to long. sooo frustrating to watch.

We are going to win our last six games!

With a record of 9-7, we will enter the playoffs as the final wild card.

We will beat the Giants once, and they will lose three more times to Eagles, Cowboys, and Minnesota.
We will beat the Eagles once, and they will lose three more times to Broncos, Falcons, and Cowboys.

Putting us at 2nd place in NFC East, and into the wild card.

LOL that no one is even bothering to answer the OP's question. I myself do not have the answer sorry. It is strange though I agree.

Yes.. It is so very frustrating to watch this team. It's like Zorn doesn't have a clue to what he's doing out there. I was watching the game with a friend of mine who is a cowboy fan and he was questioning why we were going for the field goal instead of tryign to score a TD. I told him right there that the decision to play it safe will cost us the game in the end and it did. I wasn't even mad at the end of the game because I knew what was going to happen. I just wish Zorn would grow up and coach.

The sad thing is, I know you're not joking, because you actually took the time to look up the other teams schedules.

One little problem with your theory, well besides the fact that there is no way in hell this team with that offensive line is going to win 6 games in a row, finishing 2nd in the NFC East isn't an automatic bid into the playoffs.

But seriously, to even think about the playoffs with what the offensive line is reduced to, is just silly.

anyone with a basic concept of timeflow can point out the giant flaw in your presumption.

**** don't happen twice if you change an event preceding it. Of course this kinda gets into string theory, but I digress
