The last couple of weeks I actually found myself hoping they would lose. Much like an addict, this franchise needs to hit rock bottom before making changes. There is zero chance this team will compete this year...so it might as well be the year it happens.

Maybe in 2012 or so, we'll look back at 2009 as the year it FINALLY turned around.

agreed. I'll be happy whenever we win b/c I always want the Skins to win, but something's gotta give. And if it takes a 2-14 season for Dan to realize how bad he's ****ed this organization up, and that changes up top need to be made, than I won't complain.

Hard to say but probably psyched.

One of my favorite wins was back in 2001 when we were 0-5 and facing a Carolina team at home. We were down 14 points and I was thinking to myself that I could not believe the team was so bad and that the season was about to be over so fast. Then Lavar saved the season with a pick 6, Rod Gardner caught a bomb to send the game into OT, and Gardner struck again in OT with another bomb to give us our 1st win of the season. We were only 1-5 but the team celebrated like it had won a playoff game, the stadium was rocking, and I was jumping up and down in my living room.

I hope I feel like I did after that Carolina game if we beat Atlanta. Given we win, of course.

Probably meh. Happy that we stole a game from somebody.

If Todd Collins or somebody off the street lights it up at QB, I'd be more enthusiastic, thinking we have something to build on. OK with Collin's age not so much, but still.....

I just hope our next win is against the cowboys. How sweet would it be if we beat them twice to keep them out of the playoffs! (hey I can dream, right)

It'll feel like a preseason win. Which it essentially is - we're in the 2010 preseason right now.

(Although I agree with the above post that beating the Cowboys would feel much better.)

It depends on how we win I guess. I won't be impressed with a 9-7 win over a crappy team, but I think we're done playing crappy teams. Fat chance we get many more wins this season.
