I just noticed this a few days ago. i'm seeing the same behavior as others. If its already rated by someone, I get the message Ive already rated it.

Yeah, figured I'd bump this since it is still going on. As long as you're the first person to rate a thread, you're gold. After that, no dice. This is especially troublesome considering that the first ratings are often the OP giving their own thread 5 stars, or someone with a grudge rating it 1 star because they don't like the poster/argument.

The ratings are utterly meaningless right now. If the tech people are too preoccupied with other stuff, or will take a while, I'd just suggest to shut off the feature altogether until the problem's fixed.
The "Punt the Panthers" thread has one star, haha. What on earth makes that a bad thread?

The feature does not allow members to rate a tread but "guest" are allowed to rate them. One "hater" can go through and anonymously rate ALL the threads that are unrated. Lots of fun for the banned crowd.

No - from what I can tell, the feature doesn't behave any differently whether you're a member or a guest. The first person to rate a thread is successful. Others after that are unsuccessful.
